We are seeking a growth-oriented Business Analyst to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive awareness of requirements across business units and evaluate real-time data to identify substandard processes.
- Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes and develop systems prototypes that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Create and manage detailed project management plans while ensuring transparent communication at all levels.
- Perform quality assurance throughout systems development and maintain proactive communication regarding systems requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop analyses and documentation effectively.
- Conduct systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot issues.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in energy and utility sectors, ensuring technical solutions accurately reflect sector-specific requirements.
- Support the design and validation of demos and use cases related to compliance, efficiency, and sustainability in Abu Dhabi’s power and water sectors.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development.
- Proven analytical abilities and expertise in generating process documentation and reports.
- Proficiency in relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
- Strong communication skills to translate data into actionable insights.
- Solid background in energy and utilities with hands-on experience in sector projects.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science; CBAP certification preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and understanding of power systems analysis tools (e.g., PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE regulatory frameworks related to energy and water.
