The Senior Business Analyst will support business growth by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and actionable insights. The role involves working with large datasets, performing gap analyses, and visualizing business processes with tools such as sequence diagrams. The analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation to facilitate data-driven decisions that enhance products and operations. Experience in fintech or digital payments, particularly with prepaid products, telco integrations, cross-border flows, and foreign exchange, is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Describe business requirements in formats suitable for engineers and architects, such as stories, flows, and diagrams.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights that inform product strategy and business decisions.
- Create visual representations of business processes and data insights using tools like Tableau and Excel.
- Identify discrepancies between current and target states and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare internal training materials.
- Update the Product Knowledge Base with accurate documentation, FAQs, and training materials.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within fintech or banking.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Use Case modeling and UML notation is a significant advantage.
- Technical writing experience is a plus.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Excel) and process mapping.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
- Previous UX experience in B2C funnels (using tools like Figma) is desirable.
