Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Analyze and document current (“As-Is”) business processes and define future (“To-Be”) processes.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Facilitate communication between business users, IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Support solution evaluation and provide business input into proposed solutions.
- Participate in requirements validation, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews.
- Develop and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, and data-flow diagrams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test-scenario preparation, test-case review, and defect clarification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in business/process analysis and requirements management.
- Strong experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Industrial, or other large enterprise environments.
- Experience with digital transformation, ERP, enterprise applications, or process improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, BPMN, BABOK, or ITIL.
