Your Role:
- Engage with business stakeholders (Arabic and English) to collect, clarify, and document business requirements in the Data and AI domain.
- Author clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for EPICs, use cases, and key features.
- Translate business needs into user stories and manage the JIRA backlog in Agile Scrum settings.
- Perform data exploration and validation using SQL to support decision-making and system testing.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, and Data Engineers to prioritize and deliver value.
- Partner with Data Scientists to shape and prioritize AI and Advanced Analytics use cases.
- Conduct Data readiness/availability validation and map information required from data sources for each use case.
- Assess biases, errors, and assumptions in analytical requirements and models.
- Guide the design and development team to build insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensure data quality and readiness across pipelines and reporting layers.
- Support change management, training sessions, and UAT activities to drive adoption.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a similar field.
- Fluent in Arabic (spoken) and English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Proven experience working in the Public Sector on data, reporting, or analytics initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience managing JIRA backlogs.
- Proficiency in writing clear and structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Independent ability to query and manipulate data using SQL.
- Proficiency in creating insightful dashboards using Power BI and analytical models in Excel.
- Understanding of effort estimations and sizing of features, capabilities, and stories.
- Knowledge of data governance and quality principles.
- Familiarity with Advanced Analytics concepts (Predictive Analytics, ML models, AI agents) and ability to identify/prioritize AI use cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner) is a plus.
- Experience with Public Sector data privacy and security standards.
- Knowledge of AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, Dataiku, etc.) is an advantage.
