About the Job:
Our Business Development teams play a critical role in expanding Gartner’s presence across the global market. Business Development Executives strategically acquire new clients by cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives to understand their mission-critical priorities and uncover opportunities to deliver client value through the lens of their industry. They drive the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing and transitioning new accounts to the account management team.

Candidates will be responsible for seeking out and driving new business opportunities with new organizations across their territory, particularly targeting Large Enterprise organizations with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. The role involves converting viable prospects into active clients, maintaining a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet sales metrics, and managing complex, high-revenue sales across diverse business environments.

What you will do:

  • Seek out and drive new business opportunities from initial outreach to closure.
  • Convert prospects into active clients, overseeing sales conversations and negotiations.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities to meet quotas.
  • Manage and forecast sales processes on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
  • Business development or new-client acquisition experience in a selling role highly desired.
  • Experience in selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
