As part of the team, you will be responsible for selling the company's e-invoicing and accounting solutions directly and through partnerships with various stakeholders including free zones, banks, accounting firms, and platforms that connect with businesses. You will oversee your entire sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing, in addition to managing partner relationships throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
E-invoicing Sales
- Build and manage a targeted list of businesses focused on e-invoicing deadlines, size, and readiness.
- Conduct the complete sales cycle: discovery calls, compliance-led demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
- Position the company as the go-to accredited e-invoicing solution for UAE businesses and for KSA businesses under ZATCA when applicable.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets, with each opportunity logged with a specific closing date.
Outbound Prospecting
- Self-generate a sales pipeline through various methods, including calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events, and referrals.
- Identify prospects based on specific triggers: new trade licenses, VAT registrations, businesses hiring finance staff, and those nearing their e-invoicing deadline.
- Schedule and conduct qualified meetings weekly, followed by same-day follow-ups with clearly defined next steps.
Partnership Development
- Identify, approach, and secure partnerships that can help distribute the company's services at scale, including working with free zone authorities, business setup firms, banks, payment providers, accounting firms, accelerators, and software platforms.
- Develop tailored partnership models suited for different partners: referral agreements, co-marketing initiatives, bundled offerings, or embedded solutions.
- Engage with 2 to 3 partner organisations daily.
Partner Management
- Provide an enablement pack within 10 working days of signing a partnership, including necessary training, collateral, referral processes, and relevant contacts.
- Ensure each partner becomes productive within 60 days and conduct monthly performance reviews with them.
- Enhance partner output via joint campaigns, workshops, and events while proactively identifying and addressing dormant partners.
Pipeline, CRM, and Reporting
- Maintain daily updates in the CRM for every meeting, stage change, and next step.
- Submit daily plans and end-of-day summaries, along with weekly pipeline reports each Friday.
- Share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates with the team.
Requirements
Must Have
- 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within SaaS, fintech, accounting software, or professional services.
- At least 2 years in building or managing partnerships or channel sales.
- A successful track record of closing new business against targets, supported by quantifiable results.
- Experience in the UAE market, including an established network across free zones, banks, accounting firms, or the SME sector.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and the e-invoicing mandate, or the ability to quickly learn and explain these concepts.
- Strong outbound sales discipline, comfortable with daily prospecting and cold outreach.
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (such as HubSpot, Odoo, or similar) and excellent organizational skills for daily activities and administration.
