About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding and supporting the company's Authorized Dealer network across the Middle East and Africa. Your responsibilities will leverage your technical expertise, commercial insight, and relationship-building proficiency to assist existing dealers, forge new partnerships, and identify sustainable growth opportunities in the region. In this Role You Will:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with the company's Authorized Dealers across the Middle East and Africa, helping them grow their businesses and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide first-line technical and commercial support to dealers, assisting them in identifying the right solutions for customers.
  • Support dealers with pricing, proposals, bids, and project opportunities to strengthen their pipelines and achieve sustainable growth.
  • Develop dealer capabilities through training, coaching, and support of their sales and business processes, fostering the technical and commercial skills needed for long-term success.
  • Stay connected with customers, consulting engineers, and the broader market to understand emerging needs and trends, strengthen specification opportunities, and relay actionable regional insights back to the company.
  • Regularly review dealer performance, project pipelines, and market opportunities to identify risks and keep regional business plans on track.
  • Identify, evaluate, and cultivate new Authorized Dealers to strategically expand the company's reach in the region.
  • Build and strengthen industry relationships by representing the company at customer sites, trade shows, industry events, and other networking opportunities across the region.
  • Develop and execute an annual regional business plan, including dealer and sales targets.

This Role Might Be Right for You If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in building automation or controls, ideally within engineering, technical support, systems integration, channel/distribution support, or business development.
  • Post-secondary education in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, with the ability to translate customer and dealer needs into practical solutions.
  • Commercial acumen and robust relationship-building skills, with the ability to support and influence independent business partners.
  • Experience working with a dealer, distributor, systems integrator, or other channel-based network.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic would be a significant asset.
  • The ability and willingness to travel approximately 30–40% throughout the Middle East and Africa to support dealers, customers, consultants, and business development activities.
