We are seeking a Business Development Expert who will work closely with senior leaders focused on sourcing new clients and generating new revenue in the MENA region. You will control the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing and activation of large customers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving revenue for Focal, owning the entire sales cycle.
  • Developing strategies for hunting, demonstrating the product, and closing opportunities with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing a consultative selling approach by analyzing customer needs and advising them while solidifying long-standing relationships.
  • Establishing credibility, trust, and respect as a thought leader in Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, Fraud, and Credit Risk.
  • Focusing on results, pipeline generation, revenue, and forecast accuracy, while leading and inspiring others in your ecosystem.
  • Navigating internal and external stakeholders including C-suite executives, investors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborating with presales, product, and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a strong IT background or related field (e.g., Engineering degree in IT, telecoms).
  • 5 years of quota-carrying direct Enterprise or SaaS sales experience in a full cycle closing role.
  • 3 years of experience in the GCC markets.
  • Proven experience closing multiple deals per quarter, with an average ACV of +$100K.
  • Strong ability to discuss Product value propositions with C-level executives, compliance & risk teams, and decision-makers.
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience participating in RFPs in close collaboration with the Bid and Pre-sales team.
  • High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup.
  • Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking with a desire to make a difference.
