Business Development Manager

About the Role
Lead the Marketing team to serve the business unit in alignment with group business objectives and commitments. This position involves responding to tender bids, handling enquiries, and reviewing contracts with customers. You will develop and foster relationships with potential customers while enhancing strong client relations with existing ones. Being sensitive to industry trends and developments is crucial to exploring and exploiting business opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing business strategies that advocate for the future growth of the company's business by identifying and evaluating new market potential and opportunities. Manage the operational budget for the Marketing Department and oversee training programs while facilitating the career development of the marketing team.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing discipline
• At least 8 years of marketing experience in a management position
• Comprehensive understanding of industry and market conditions
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Good understanding of contractual matters
• Technical knowledge of rigs, ships, and offshore platforms
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of business protocols
• Ability to build relationships with clients
• Willingness to travel at short notice
