The Global Payments team is focused on building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all of the company's products and services. We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a focus on the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (MEAT region) for our Global Payment Network. This role will contribute to the continued success of the payment network worldwide, driving key regional business development targets while building strong connections with the META region BD team and other cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary contact point in the META region for channel partnership development.
- Develop regional payment strategies for business growth, cost reduction, and risk management in key markets, including Turkey, KSA, UAE, and other GCC countries.
- Ensure excellent communication and internal coordination to roll out new services and enhance partnerships, considering market specifics such as regulations and competition.
- Work closely with regional teams to understand local needs and proactively develop solutions to support business growth.
- Liaise with HQ teams on commercial strategy, product development, risk management, and other initiatives.
- Conduct regular industry analysis and Business Intelligence research.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a business professional at a payment/e-money institution, bank, fintech, financial regulatory agency, and/or internet company managing payment services-related functions.
- Experience in and understanding of payments, e-money or wallet products/services, banking functions, and/or merchant processing.
- A strong balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution with the ability to lead from the front and be actively involved in execution.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork-oriented spirit.
- A can-do, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on creative problem-solving and high energy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital payment industry development and cultures across the META region, with strong connections to local and regional payment providers.
- Demonstrated thought leadership, market presence, and understanding of best practices and innovation.
