The company Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is entering an exciting growth phase by expanding its direct presence. To support these growth plans, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Modernization Business, based in our Dubai office. This role will focus on finding new business opportunities, managing complex business development projects, and supporting specific business segments within the company's modernization efforts in the UAE. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in transforming the UAE's ageing base of elevators and escalators—regardless of brand—into modernization growth, with special emphasis on segments like infrastructure and public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Find new business opportunities to position the company competitively in the market according to short- and long-term business goals.
- Manage complex business development projects and support business segments requiring special focus, such as the Infra segment and PPP projects, to grow the company's business in those areas.
- Ensure cross-BL or organization-wide implementation of growth opportunities, for example, Advanced People Flow (APF) solutions or People Flow planning and consulting.
- Drive a turnaround of low business performance in a specific part of the business.
- Manage complex, large, and difficult analysis, development, or implementation projects.
- Maintain a strong network within and outside of the company to share best practices and understand current and future requirements.
- Leverage external companies to shape the company's business and operations.
Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, finance, engineering).
- Knowledge of modernization scopes, elevator safety codes (e.g., EN 81-80), and UAE authority requirements.
- Established network with UAE developers, building owners, FM companies, and government entities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Proven track record of consistent success in business performance and development.
- Understanding of costs, business principles, and risk management.
- Knowledge, skills, and experience in qualifying, structuring, and negotiating with business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with various stakeholders and develop relationships in a complex team environment.
