Key Accountabilities of the Role:
1. Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that set targets are met or exceeded on time.
- Ensure the team fully adheres to policies and procedures on day-to-day business management.
- Implement an adequate leave plan for the team and ensure effective execution.
2. Daily/Weekly Responsibilities:
- Ensure business proposals are booked under company policy and procedure with Shari’a compliance.
- Monitor daily activities of Individual Finance Executives (IFE’s) and ensure appropriate business management/control is in place.
- Coach the team on daily business activities to guide them in achieving monthly goals.
- Review and recommend standard credit applications, ensuring the authenticity of critical documents (e.g., MRF, identification documents, bank statements).
- Update leads status in a timely manner, ensuring updates are completed before leaving the office each day.
- Ensure daily attendance; escalate issues of regular absenteeism to the Senior Manager (SM).
- Verify disbursement files are in order, cross-checking original customer documents against copies, and ensure files are sent to the Risk and Finance Officer (RFO) promptly, ideally within one working day.
- Ensure proper handover of all customer-related files/documents prior to staff departures and arrange proper follow-up/closing of each case.
- Handle customer complaints directly; do not allow IFE’s to handle complaints independently.
- Ensure all IFE's remain updated on products, policies, and promotions, and inform them of any changes.
- Open business channels for IFE's by visiting potential employers/high net worth customers for introductions.
3. Monthly Responsibilities:
- Motivate high achievers by recognizing them in team meetings and provide opportunities for other staff to excel through healthy inter-team competition.
- Identify training requirements while evaluating staff monthly performance.
- Arrange training/coaching for IFE based on identified areas of weakness and track progress, escalating to SM if necessary.
- Recommend disciplinary action for those showing no improvement in performance.
- Support SM on Al Khair STL/Settlement/Clearance/STL based on call outcomes.
- Visit two ministries/departments/listed companies and provide a business visit report to SM.
4. Annual Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual appraisals and recommend staff recognition.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this Role:
- Familiarity with core banking and application sourcing systems.
- Proficient in Outlook, email, and HR systems.
Previous Experience:
- A minimum of 4+ years of banking experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role preferred (an exception may be made for consistently top-performing candidates).
