Key Accountabilities of the Role
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that set targets are met or exceeded on time.
- Ensure the team fully adheres to company policies and procedures during day-to-day operations.
- Develop and execute adequate leave plan for the team effectively.
Daily/Weekly Responsibilities:
- Ensure all business proposals and bookings comply with company policies and Shari’a regulations.
- Monitor daily activities of Individual Financial Executives (IFE) and implement business management and control measures.
- Coach the team on daily business activities and guide them to achieve monthly targets.
- Review and recommend standard credit applications, ensuring the authenticity of critical documents (e.g., MRF, identification documents, bank statements).
- Update lead statuses promptly before leaving for the day.
- Monitor daily attendance and escalate any regular absenteeism to the Senior Manager (SM).
- Ensure disbursement files are in proper order before forwarding to RFO, checking customer’s original documents against copies, and send files to RFO immediately or within one working day.
- Oversee proper handover of customer-related files/documents upon staff departure due to resignation or termination, and arrange follow-up/closure of each case.
- Handle customer complaints directly, ensuring that IFEs do not manage complaints independently.
- Ensure all IFEs are knowledgeable about products, policies, and promotions, keeping them updated on any changes.
- Open business channels by visiting potential employers and high-net-worth customers, introducing them to IFEs.
Monthly Responsibilities:
- Motivate high achievers by recognizing their efforts in team meetings and create opportunities for all staff to compete for top positions through healthy inter-team competition.
- Identify staff training requirements during monthly performance evaluations.
- Arrange IFE training and coaching based on identified weaknesses, maintaining progress and escalating to SM if necessary.
- Recommend disciplinary actions for staff showing no improvements.
- Support SM with Al Khair STL/Settlement/Clearance/STL based on calls.
- Visit two ministries, departments, or listed companies and provide a Business Visit Report to SM.
Annual Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual appraisals, providing recommendations for staff recognition.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge and Competencies Required for this Role:
- Familiarity with core banking and application sourcing systems.
- Proficient use of Outlook, Email, and HR systems.
Educational Qualifications:
- Preferably a graduate; diploma or high school qualifications may suffice based on work experience or exposure.
Previous Experience:
- 4+ years of banking experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/team-leading role preferred (an exception for proven consistent top performance may apply).
