Your Role
We're seeking a Business Development Manager for our Business Development team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be crucial in driving new business by identifying, qualifying, and building new partnerships for Tamara.

Drawing on your proficiency in collaborating closely with partnerships managers and marketing, you will be responsible for developing creative outreach programs and determining the priority of outreach based on potential impact. You will have exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work with data, produce insights, and create presentations for sales pitches.

Your Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting via existing network, email, and phone to generate new opportunities with the largest retailers and groups in the region
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships across several verticals, sectors, and geographies
  • Negotiate and close long-term contracts that benefit both Tamara and its partners
  • Facilitate conversations with C-level executives at major retailers and build, maintain, and manage long-term professional relationships
  • Collaborate internally with relevant teams to meet partner expectations, performance objectives, and resolve partner-related issues
  • Own a pipeline of opportunities within a market/vertical and drive the sales cycle from prospecting to closing

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent and demonstrable experience of 3-4 years in new business development and sales within SaaS companies is preferred
  • Proven track record in developing new partnerships, relationship management, and project management experience in retail, e-commerce, and similar businesses
  • Highly developed influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills delivered through presentation, promotion, and communication
