Business Development Officer - SME - Sales

This role focuses on sourcing new business banking current accounts and generating fee income for the company through various financial services. You will be responsible for achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by ensuring accounts are funded as expected and presenting all business banking products to potential customers in a professional manner.

You will need to prospect in targeted markets through phone calls and face-to-face visits, and maintain and develop relationships with customers to enhance cross-sell opportunities. Adherence to the company's KYC and AML policies is crucial, as is the documentation of sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and CRM for leads and contacts.

You will also engage in micro marketing activities, participate in team events and training sessions, and handle customer objections to increase take-up rates. Consistently achieving monthly sales targets throughout the financial year is a key expectation.
