Key responsibilities include:
- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain complex data models (logical, physical, and conceptual) to ensure data consistency and accessibility.
- BI Strategy & Frameworks: Formulate the overall BI strategy, select tools and platforms, define governance processes, and establish best practices for reporting and analytics.
- ETL/ELT Processes: Design and oversee the creation of efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large-scale datasets from various sources.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with business leaders and analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Data Governance: Implement data quality, governance, and security practices across all solutions to maintain compliance with regulations.
- Cloud & On-Premise Solutions: Design hybrid environments utilizing both on-premises and Azure cloud technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of data architecture and BI systems.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to data engineers, BI developers, and team members.
- Tool Selection and Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and selection of BI tools and platforms to ensure innovation in data analytics.
