About the Job:
Our team is responsible for building products for the onsite shopping customer experience (CX) of MENA customers. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead efforts in quantifying the customer funnel, building entitlements, and automating the daily/weekly tracking of shopping events. This role is the starting point for product roadmap creation and requires a strong focus on customer advocacy and understanding quantified customer behavior. The candidate will collaborate with Product Managers, Tech, and Business teams in MENA and globally to establish feature value. The position is set in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, necessitating efficiency and depth of work while influencing stakeholders and communicating with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own shopping funnel entitlements and quantify features to establish their contribution to closing entitlement gaps.
- Manage reporting of shopping journeys in both languages for regular stakeholder reviews, reflecting the dual-language nature of the MENA region.
- Analyze the platform impact of launched/in-experiment features and lead necessary corrections in coordination with Product Managers.
- Innovate methods for accessing the right customer event data to establish impacts as data sources for customer events are not standardized.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Proficiency in data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to extract data from databases or data warehouses, along with scripting experience in Python for data processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Background in data mining, ETL, and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred given the dual-language region.
