The Business Manager is a vital role focused on business development and partnership management, requiring an in-depth understanding of partnership lifecycle management, expertise in contract management and negotiations, as well as exceptional client management and influencing skills. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the online payment domain, with at least 5 years of experience in a Card Network, acquiring bank, or Payment Service Provider. This role involves working with partners at all organizational levels, including C-level executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage relationships with existing partners (banks, card schemes, Alternative Payment Methods, and Third Party Providers)
  • Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures with partners
  • Address and resolve day-to-day operational and business escalations
  • Negotiate commercial terms and improve cost of payment with partners
  • Explore and establish new partner channels as requested by product and business teams
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to enhance user experience with technical providers and financial institutions
  • Support merchants’ KYC, banking requirements, onboarding processes, and improve turnaround times
  • Conduct workshops and training for associated partners
  • Work with the legal team to optimize partnership agreements
  • Train and certify third party technical providers for enterprise merchant integration
  • Initiate regular reviews with partner channels
  • Propose automation procedures, customizable solutions, and improve manual processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or partnership management
  • 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with sales CRM tools, such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking, writing, and reading)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Background in online advertising or high-tech products/services
