Business Solutions Automation Specialist

About the Role

Responsible for the development and delivery of Airports & Ground Operations automation strategies, this role focuses on collating, designing, engineering, constructing, and delivering automation solutions aimed at reducing manual intervention while increasing productivity, consistency, and quality.

Accountabilities

• Support Manager in collating, reporting, and escalating automation projects within Airports & Ground Operations, achieving a reduction of manual intervention by an overall 30%.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to identifying, developing, and building automation solutions as directed by the Manager, utilizing, but not limited to, Office365 applications to raise productivity and consistency.
• Report limitations in Airports & Ground Operations automated solutions and applications rolled out by the department to the Manager.
• Complete projects related to departmental automated solutions within specified time frames.
• Deliver effective professional innovative proposals aligned with departmental goals.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and innovative designs.

Qualifications Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma or relevant license/certification.
• Subject matter expert (SME) with proven, demonstrable knowledge and relevant industry experience in passenger handling operations, preferably gained through 4-6 years in an Above Wing or Ground Handling Operations role with an airline or ground handling agency.
• Demonstrable knowledge of airport systems and automation initiatives.
