Business Solutions Automation Specialist

About the Role
The role involves the development and delivery of automation strategies within Airports & Ground Operations. The focus is on collating, designing, engineering, constructing, and delivering automation solutions to reduce manual intervention, enhance productivity, and improve consistency and quality.

Accountabilities

• Support the Manager in collating, reporting, and escalating automation projects within Airports & Ground Operations, aiming for a 30% reduction in manual intervention.
• Manage day-to-day operations to identify, develop, and build automation solutions as directed by the Manager, utilizing Office365 applications to increase productivity and consistency.
• Report limitations in automated solutions and applications rolled out by the Airports & Ground Operations department to the Manager.
• Ensure timely completion of projects related to departmental automated solutions.
• Deliver effective, professional, and innovative proposals that align with departmental goals.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and innovative designs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma or relevant license/certification.
• Subject matter expert (SME) with proven knowledge and relevant industry experience in passenger handling operations, preferably acquired through 4-6 years in an Above Wing or Ground Handling Operations role with an airline or ground handling agency.
• Demonstrable knowledge of airport systems and automation initiatives.
