Business Support Engineer

Shory is a pioneer in the Insurtech market, focusing on empowering customers through innovative insurance solutions. We are seeking a Business Support Engineer to join our KSA team.

The Business Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring system continuity by actively monitoring key system components, providing early alerts for errors, and delivering technical support to Customer Support agents. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the health and stability of multiple applications and systems.
• Creating and maintaining a knowledge base of issues and incidents.
• Identifying repeating or high-impact system issues and proposing solutions.
• Providing off-hours support for system problems when necessary.
• Extracting and analyzing information from log files for troubleshooting.
• Responding to escalated system performance issues and communicating findings.
• Managing customer service requirements and measuring satisfaction rates.
• Collaborating with teams and vendors on innovative solutions.
• Creating periodic incident reports for stakeholders.

To qualify for this role, candidates should have:

• 6-8 years of experience in a technical support and administration role, preferably with blue-chip companies in insurance, banking, management, or technical consulting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, Telnet, and Notepad++.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS administration tools.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work flexible hours as necessary.

Good command of English is required.
