The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily operational health and administrative integrity of our Workday ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring that system configurations, business processes, and data entry remain accurate, efficient, and compliant with global standards. You will exercise sound judgment to resolve moderately complex technical issues within Workday and impacted applications while following standardized procedures for routine maintenance. As a key administrative partner, you will collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot data discrepancies and maintain an open, collaborative culture. This position requires a high degree of discretion, as you will regularly handle sensitive associate information in accordance with policies and global privacy laws.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Foundational knowledge of Workday HCM is required, with familiarity with additional modules such as Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, or Payroll highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for mass data uploads and updates.
  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, including the creation of custom reports, dashboards, and Calculated Fields.
  • Experience executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing during Workday’s bi-annual feature releases.
  • Experience using ServiceNow to track system issues and manage administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for data visualization and documentation, and Slack for real-time stakeholder communication.
  • Solid understanding of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, and their application within an HRIS environment.
  • Ability to identify underlying data discrepancies or configuration gaps.
  • A "continuous improvement" mindset—looking for ways to automate manual administrative tasks or simplify complex workflows.
  • Skill in creating clear, jargon-free documentation, job aids, and training materials for end-users.
  • Proactive approach to work with minimal instruction, while knowing when to escalate issues to senior team members.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Workday Pro Certification in HCM.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
