About the Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!
Join our Smart Infrastructure Buildings team as the Business Unit Performance Controller and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making it smarter for tomorrow. In this role, you will drive Performance Controlling for the SI B Saudi Arabia, ensuring high-quality financial transparency, reporting, forecasting, and business steering. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing in-depth financial analysis, performance forecasting, and management reporting to support data-driven business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with different internal departments and regional management teams to identify growth opportunities, productivity improvements, and profitability enhancement measures.
  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and target-setting processes while ensuring a high degree of forecast accuracy and business ownership.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business management, translating complex financial information into clear business recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Driving productivity initiatives and monitoring the achievement of productivity, profitability, cash flow, margin, and growth targets.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and escalating business risks and opportunities while defining mitigation and improvement actions with management teams.
  • Leading special projects and business transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and financial performance.
  • Leading the digital transformation and automation roadmap of the controlling function by implementing advanced analytics, dashboards, self-service reporting, AI-enabled solutions, and standardized processes that enhance transparency, decision-making quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Driving data governance, data quality, and process harmonization initiatives while fostering a data-driven culture and promoting innovative automation solutions that increase productivity, reduce manual effort, and continuously improve finance service delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial reporting guidelines, internal controls, governance requirements, and risk management processes.
  • Acting as the primary finance counterpart to Country Management, Regional Management, and Business Leadership Teams, with full Performance Controlling responsibility for Saudi Arabia.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

  • Proven track record of 8+ years in Performance Controlling, Execution/Operations, Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or Business Controlling roles.
  • Thorough understanding of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, performance management, and profitability steering.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and technologies to improve controlling effectiveness and business insights.
  • Proven experience in implementing digitalization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in multinational and matrix organizations and within project, solutions, services, or technology-driven businesses is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English; any additional language is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
