Business/Product Leader - Amazon Now

Imagine if you could help shape the future of online grocery shopping, and make it increasingly easier and better for customers to shop online. The company Now (A-Now) team is looking for a business/product leader to drive A-Now design for a seamless customer shopping journey. This role will be a combination of product ownership and business strategy ownership to ensure customers in the region have the best grocery shopping experience when they order from the company. This position blends business strategy, product development and management, program value assurance, operational excellence, and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MENA A-Now plans to invest millions in coupons to acquire, engage, and reward customers to drive basket-building missions, aiming to improve cashback spend efficiency by reducing E%O from 18% to 10% by EOY through initiatives including AI/ML that personalizes reward amounts at the individual customer level.
• Define and own the product vision for a dark store assortment planning system, which directly determines what customers can buy on the company Now. Collaborate with Retail, A-Now category, and Tech to build a framework that optimizes selection at an individual store level, balancing physical space constraints and demand signals from a multi-tier fulfillment network.
• Build an inventory health system/process to monitor inventory quality in Dark Stores and Hubs and adjust supply and demand strategies to reduce waste, aiming to decrease expiry from approximately 9% GMS currently to less than 5% in 2027.
