The company is seeking a Rust OR C++ Engineer with extensive experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems. As a market maker, we provide services such as market making, options trading, high-frequency trading, and OTC trading. We pursue innovation in the algorithmic trading space, utilizing Rust, TypeScript, and Python across our technology stack.

In this role, you will contribute to our small but rapidly growing Options Business Unit. You will be responsible for building and improving our low latency options trading system and will have the opportunity to address impactful business challenges. Candidates located in either Asian or European time zones are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance low latency options trading systems.
  • Collaborate in a globally distributed, remote team environment.
  • Maintain complete ownership of projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Implement scalable systems architecture and extendable APIs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in low latency or data-heavy systems (trading experience is preferred).
  • Proficient in either Rust or C/C++ and willing to become an expert in Rust if not already.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Knowledge or keen interest in options trading is essential.
  • Familiarity with exchange connectivity and/or FPGA technologies is valuable.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases and protobuf-based protocols.
