About the Role
The C4I Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the MRAP C4I systems installed in MRAP vehicles. This includes following the directives of the C4I Supervisor in managing access and security to equipment, accounting for all computer hardware, radios, installed electronics, and any other removable electronic equipment. The technician will provide technical expertise on hardware, software, and user issues while staying up to date on electronic upgrades as directed by the USAF. Compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the company ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) is essential.

Principal Accountabilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair MRAP's complete C4I electronic systems, including Tactical Communication (TACOM), Intelligence, Reconnaissance, Surveillance & Navigation (ISRN), and Counter Radio Frequency Warfare (CREW) IED Defeat Systems.
- Plan and schedule C4I preventive maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations and environmental variance. Provide recommendations for revisions to the C4I Supervisor as indicated by usage historical data or as directed by the manufacturer or customer.
- Follow recon inspection and repair procedures provided by the MRAP C4I Supervisor and recommend revisions as necessary.
- Notify the C4I Supervisor of any changes in parts coverage required for mid-level repairs to electronic equipment, radios, and other C4I equipment.
- Ensure security, limited access, and safe storage of C4I equipment and pilferable MRAP items.
- Conduct inventory and serial number checks for accountability of all electronic equipment.
- Prepare and inspect vehicles and equipment for air, sea, or surface shipment.
- Coordinate with Supply to ensure secure and limited access to POS for C4I equipment.
- Work with the C4I Supervisor to receive in-house training and refresher/upgrade training, including practical training as required.
- Monitor Vehicle Mechanics working near sensitive electronic equipment and provide necessary training to ensure safety and security.
- Attend upgrade training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in a normal office or maintenance shop environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficient in the use of personal computers, the Windows Operating System, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Extensive knowledge of industry-standard software and peripherals, with a strong working knowledge of PCs, network, and communications systems.
- Ability to innovate and exercise sound judgment in resolving complex tasks.
- Valid home country driver's license; ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
- May be required to operate material handling equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of field experience as a C4I Senior Electronics Technician and/or Supervisor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
- Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
