The company, a global leader in the engineering and R&D market, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist - Cabin Connectivity. This role focuses on providing technical assistance, troubleshooting support, and engineering recommendations for commercial aircraft cabin connectivity systems. The successful candidate will analyze connectivity issues, support fault investigations, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure high service availability across customer fleets. This position is primarily customer support-oriented, emphasizing technical analysis and troubleshooting rather than maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for cabin connectivity systems on commercial aircraft.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot connectivity issues reported by airline customers.
  • Determine the origin of reported issues, whether from onboard systems or external service providers.
  • Offer first-level troubleshooting recommendations to airline engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Analyze technical logs and diagnostic reports to assist in fault investigations.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor fleet connectivity performance and identify recurring problems.
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.

Required Experience:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in supporting commercial aircraft cabin connectivity systems.
  • Previous experience within an airline, MRO, aircraft manufacturer, or cabin connectivity supplier.
  • Practical experience in passenger connectivity systems on commercial aircraft is essential.
  • Experience with aircraft and In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

Technical Skills:

  • Practical experience with technologies such as Passenger Wi-Fi Systems, Cabin Connectivity Systems, and Satellite Communication Systems is ideal.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and interpreting system logs is important.
  • Knowledge of cabin network components and connectivity-related LRUs is beneficial.
