Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
- Interpret and analyze design briefs, sketches, and technical documentation to produce accurate digital representations.
- Organize and maintain CAD files, ensuring proper naming conventions, version control, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine drawings and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for production, construction, or manufacturing purposes.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the development of design standards and CAD templates to improve workflow efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status, revisions, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot CAD software issues and optimize performance to maintain productivity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar industry-standard programs.
- Demonstrated experience creating and editing 2D and 3D technical drawings and models.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing conventions, symbols, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors in complex drawings.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 10 years of professional CAD operation experience (preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or architecture industries (preferred).
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and drawing protocols (preferred).
