CAD REVIT Specialist

Parsons Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD / REVIT Specialist to join our dynamic team focused on the Transportation and Cableway System initiatives at Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC). This role is pivotal in driving the design and development of innovative, sustainable, and world-class transportation solutions.

Candidates must have experience working in the concept, design, and procurement phases of the project lifecycle, along with previous experience in an Engineering Consultancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 2D and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design outputs. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Modeling: Create and manage 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit for the Cableway System. Update and maintain CAD drawings and Revit models to reflect modifications.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate various components into cohesive designs. Coordinate with stakeholders to support project execution.
• BIM Implementation and Management: Implement BIM procedures in line with ISO 19650 standards. Manage a Common Data Environment through Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Quality Assurance and Training: Conduct design reviews to mitigate design conflicts, and upskill team members on CAD and Revit best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in systems and processes, supporting the development of design calculations, reports, and specifications.

Required Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Transportation Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Certifications: Certification in BIM Management or equivalent with knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
• Experience: 5-8+ years in BIM roles, preferably in transportation or large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience as a CAD / REVIT Specialist is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with other design software (e.g., Civil 3D, Navisworks) is a plus. Experience in BIM processes and management tools (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, visualization, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), with excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex design workflows and multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for the discipline and project location.
• Professional license from a recognized board is preferred.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia and/or the Gulf region is highly preferred.
