Qualifications
Applicants should demonstrate:
- A PhD in a discipline relevant to the company's academic programmes and research priorities.
- A sustained record of high-quality publications in reputable indexed journals.
- Evidence of research impact appropriate to their discipline and career stage.
- Experience in collaborative research and the ability to contribute to faculty and student research development.
- International research collaboration, externally funded projects and interdisciplinary research experience are advantages.
Assessment will consider the quality and relevance of contributions; no single research metric determines selection.
Responsibilities
- Undertake joint research with the company faculty and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Deliver research seminars or workshops.
- Meet the individual research objectives, deliverables, and reporting requirements specified in the appointment contract.
Appointment Arrangements
The contract will specify the appointment category, duration, workload, campus attendance, any approved remote collaboration, remuneration, and support. Applicants employed elsewhere must obtain any necessary home institution approval. Appointments are subject to satisfactory security clearance, University approval, and a signed contract.
