Position

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, responsible for running maintenance projects for a large customer in KSA. The selected candidate will provide first-line technical and functional support for the Calypso application and associated technical services. The role involves user support across both the front and back offices, maintaining the application, and contributing to the delivery of key change initiatives for the bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate issues as they arise, participate in root cause analysis, and suggest resolutions in a timely manner to prevent future occurrences.
  • Complete necessary documentation to track and close support tickets, ensuring timely updates to business users and management.
  • Collaborate with project teams, providing analysis, support, and assistance with software releases and rollouts in the production environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities, such as event monitoring and alerting, and automate manual activities whenever possible.
  • Participate in an on-call support roster to ensure critical applications are always available for colleagues and customers; work overtime as required for service-impacting incidents.
  • Proactively manage risk and comply with policy requirements; perform controls and escalate issues as identified.
  • Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior by ensuring compliance with external legislation and internal operating policies.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a Calypso Technical Support Analyst role.
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of Calypso.
  • Experience in requirement elaboration and collaboration with development teams.
  • Production implementation and post-production support experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting status and issues.
  • Ability to document complex processes and concepts clearly.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Understanding of multiple operating system environments (Linux, Windows).
