Calypso Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Product Engineer with extensive knowledge of Calypso architecture, APIs, and hands-on experience in both front and back implementation of Calypso systems, including risk management systems with ERS implementation of Limits and VaR. The ideal candidate will possess between 7 to 10 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Calypso system across various asset classes such as Fixed Income, Money Market, FX, and Credit Derivatives, including non-linear derivatives.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and hands-on experience with APIs from the latest version (Minimum V15.2)
• Proficient in Java development (Java 1.7 or higher) with knowledge of OOP concepts, Collections, and Multithreading
• Knowledge of Oracle PLSQL and understanding of the Calypso data model
• Good understanding of application servers (e.g., JBoss) and build tools (e.g., Gradle)
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns, including Open API
• Expertise in network/server-level interaction with Calypso modules and troubleshooting

Functional Skills Required:

• Experience in analysis and implementation of trading platforms
• Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX derivatives, Interest Rate, and Credit Derivatives
• Familiarity with Credit and Market Risk ERS limit setup and VAR setup
• Good understanding of official P&L and accounting setup in Calypso
• Knowledge of curve and market data setup in Calypso
• Understanding of Calypso workstations and back-office operations, including static data/messages, transfers, and settlements
• Proficient in position configuration in Calypso
• Familiarity with integration patterns such as Open API/Open Banking
