Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and maintain the Calypso system across different asset classes, including Fixed Income, Money Market, Foreign Exchange (FX), Credit Derivatives, and Non-linear Derivatives.
- Utilize strong Java development skills, focusing on object-oriented programming, collections, and multithreading.
- Engage with Calypso's APIs (minimum Version 15.2), Oracle PL/SQL, and integration patterns like Open API.
- Collaborate on trading platform analysis and system implementation with a focus on market and credit risk ERS limit setups and VaR configurations.
- Ensure effective communication with multiple teams and drive technical considerations to enhance productivity and efficacy.
Education and Experience:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- 7-10 years of extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Calypso systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Java development (Java 1.7 or higher) and understanding of Calypso architecture.
- Knowledge of application servers (e.g., JBoss) and build tools (e.g., Gradle).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg SAPI, TOMS, Reuters feed, and trade integration processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills, able to share knowledge and drive initiatives without supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for presenting ideas to senior and executive management.
