Cards Business Analyst

About the Job:
Our client, a prominent bank in Ajman, is seeking a Business Analyst specialized in Cards to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, conducting gap analyses, and translating these into technical requirements.

Location: Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, 12-month contract

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector
• Deep understanding of the card lifecycle including Issuance, Activation, Usage, and Closure
• Knowledge of Credit, Debit, Prepaid, and Corporate Card products
• Familiarity with card schemes such as MasterCard, Visa, Amex, and UnionPay along with their compliance requirements
• Experience with card management systems (CMS) and integration with banking channels such as IVR, ATMs, and Digital Banking
• Proficiency in APIs and file formats (ISO 8583, XML, JSON) related to card issuance and settlement processes
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand and fulfill business needs

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work or relocate in Ajman
• Available with 1 month notice period
