Responsibilities

  • Influence internal and external stakeholders and leadership to buy into your strategic direction.
  • Build a buying and sourcing strategy for an established category while ensuring flawless execution and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive improvements.
  • Build relationships with vendors, add selection, manage category profitability, optimize pricing, and develop your team.
  • Support the Category leader to drive new strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and build strategic partnerships, align, and close end-to-end vendor relationships and terms of trade.
  • Own the P&L for hitting top and bottom-line targets and drive projects to improve profitability with critical stakeholders (Vendor, Ops, Advertising).
  • Source deals during Tier 1 & Tier 2 events to ensure continued value for our customers.

Requirements

  • A broad skill set including leadership development, analytical abilities, excellent business judgment, and strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding, and ambiguous environment.
  • Experience with multiple stakeholders including marketing, marketplace, legal, supply chain, and operations.
