CCTV Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced technician to handle the installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV systems and related equipment. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions, while ensuring optimal system performance through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and testing of CCTV cameras, switches, NVRs, servers, workstations, and other related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in CCTV cameras, NVRs, servers, workstations, and other related equipment, resolving issues promptly.
• Upgrade and replace hardware and software components as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate CCTV solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on CCTV system operation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and generate service reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during installations and repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest CCTV technology and industry best practices.

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the field.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Experience with IP-based CCTV systems and video management software.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
