Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Instruction: Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and related computing disciplines, with an emphasis on information systems, database systems, data analytics, IT strategy and governance, enterprise technologies, and business intelligence. Contribute to the delivery and development of specialized courses aligned with the College's academic objectives and evolving industry needs.
- Student Mentorship: Supervise undergraduate capstone and graduation projects, provide academic advising, and guide students during their professional internships.
- Scholarly Activity: Maintain an active research agenda, publish in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, pursue external research funding, and contribute to research initiatives in emerging areas of Computer Science, Information Technology, and their applications in business and industry.
- Service: Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement, academic advising, program assessment, accreditation activities, and other academic and administrative responsibilities within the College and University.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated teaching experience of at least 3 years post-Ph.D. at the university level, with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student engagement.
- Strong research and publication record in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, with the ability to supervise undergraduate research and capstone projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in Computer Science and related computing disciplines, particularly in information systems, database technologies, data analytics, or enterprise computing.
- Ability to contribute to academic accreditation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Professional or industry experience in software development, enterprise systems, IT management, business analytics, or digital transformation is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in computing, IT management, project management, or enterprise technologies are an advantage.
