The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report on campaign success against channel marketing KPIs and utilize data-driven insights to inform future planning. As this role covers three distinct regions, each with unique channel landscapes and partner ecosystems, an ability to strategize and remain focused is required. Close collaboration with channel leadership and their channel account managers is essential, ensuring that the organization’s strategic channel marketing imperatives are also met. The Channel Marketing Manager will collaborate on individual channel marketing plans with each channel account manager, listen to requirements and suggestions, and share feedback with HQ marketing teams. A key part of this role will involve managing the regional marketing development fund (MDF) budget and ensuring end-to-end visibility of local marketing results, including reporting on program effectiveness and conversion to leads/closed business, with results metrics tied to partner investment.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Channel Marketing Manager is a key contributor to the regional channel sales organization, with complete responsibility for the design and implementation of the regional channel marketing plan and supporting programs. This position offers significant opportunity to work at a senior level in a cross-functional challenging role across the region.

Key Deliverables:

  • Responsible for the creation, execution, and performance reporting of the company’s regional channel marketing plans, detailing key initiatives and joint marketing campaigns developed in collaboration with regional partners and distributors.
  • Ownership of all planning discussions with marketing colleagues from regional partners; ensuring a thorough understanding of global campaigns-in-a-box and locally developed campaigns that can be leveraged across the region.
  • Provide marketing support to channel sales leadership and team throughout the region.
  • Understand the reporting processes within the company and use data analytics to report on KPIs and marketing contributions from partner activities and partner-initiated opportunities.
  • Close liaison with local finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with fiscal and legal requirements and appropriate management of the MDF budget.
  • Manage Vistex MDF wallet loading and performance tracking.
  • Participate as an active member in team meetings and activities.
  • Responsible for upholding the company’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other organization policies.
  • Work alongside the regional FMM and product specialist marketing teams where local language support is required (~20% of focus).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Significant experience and a proven track record in channel marketing: planning, reporting, and channel marketing development, preferably in a high-tech industry (Security and/or Networking/Applications technology experience).
  • Experience working across multiple countries and cultures within the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is essential; proficiency in French or Turkish is a strong advantage.
  • Proven record of working closely with channel sales teams and sales leadership.
  • Budgeting responsibility; experience planning with both Opex and Contra MDF.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally.
  • First-class organization liaison skills and strong project management skills.
  • Good PC skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. An understanding of Tableau and Marketo would be valuable.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications) or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
