Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, General Cashier, Payroll, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, timely completion of month-end and year-end closing, effective reconciliation of accounts, and adherence to established financial controls and reporting requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and business support to the General Manager and Executive Committee, assisting management in achieving financial targets, controlling costs, improving profitability, and making informed business decisions.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance team, maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Ensure all financial activities are conducted with the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of Finance & Accounting experience, preferably in an international hotel environment.
- Previous experience as a Chief Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar senior role.
- Previous experience with the company is highly preferred, with knowledge of the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing a Finance Department.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Experience with month-end closing, audits, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; hotel systems experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
