Position

About the Role
A sophisticated single-family office based in Dubai is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial and operational infrastructure, strengthen institutional processes, and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO. The family office oversees a diversified portfolio of investments, entities, and business interests in numerous international jurisdictions requiring a leader who combines strong financial acumen with a relationship-driven approach to building trusted, long-term partnerships, operational discipline, and the ability to execute across multiple priorities.
This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity with an initial focus on building and institutionalizing the family office's operating infrastructure. The CFO will be responsible for developing a scalable operating model, strengthening internal processes, managing external resources, implementing systems and reporting capabilities, and establishing the organizational structure necessary to address the family's evolving needs. Over time, the role will place greater emphasis on financial leadership, treasury and liquidity management, and strategic decision support.
The successful candidate will bring an institutional standard of excellence while maintaining the flexibility, responsiveness, and entrepreneurial mindset required in a private family office. This individual must be equally comfortable developing long-term financial strategies, evaluating complex transactions, navigating relationships with tax and regulatory authorities across multiple jurisdictions, and independently driving projects from concept through implementation.

  • Proven ability to serve as a strategic business partner to senior executives, combining analytical rigor with commercial judgment and a practical approach to decision-making.
  • Strong foundation in corporate finance, financial reporting, treasury, liquidity management, capital structuring, and financial analysis, with the ability to oversee complex multi-entity financial arrangements.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and coordinating internal teams and external advisors to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Background in a single-family office, investment firm, financial institution, management consulting firm, or similarly sophisticated environment; exposure to private capital and complex ownership structures is highly valued.
  • Strong academic credentials and a record of achievement within high-performing, institutional-quality organizations; experience at a leading global financial institution, consulting firm, or investment organization is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with corporate structuring, compliance, and tax considerations is beneficial, although deep technical specialization is not required.
