The Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy for Binance. This role will ensure that the IT Governance and Security Risk Management Systems adhere to international best practices and comply with regulatory requirements as dictated by laws governing financial markets and virtual asset providers in the UAE.

Responsibilities:
- Implement the IT Security Risk Management function for Binance UAE.
- Develop and enhance the security framework, including policies and processes.
- Lead Security Risk Management initiatives involving all stakeholders.
- Serve as the accountable point for security and IT governance matters.
- Maintain security governance practices, including reporting to regulatory bodies and committees.
- Align security obligations with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits related to Technology and Security.
- Drive cyber threat and vulnerability management initiatives.
- Manage third-party integration risks to ensure alignment with security standards.
- Lead and develop the local security team and contribute to global department improvements.
- Oversee security incident management and facilitate compliance with international standards.
Requirements:
- Currently based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
- Bilingual English/Arabic is required for coordination with international partners.
- Experience in an approved role within a regulated financial institution.
- Proven track record in cybersecurity within a regulatory context and senior management.
- Minimum of 10 years in finance or a related sector, emphasizing security and technology compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CIPP, CIPM, FIM, ISO 27701, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.
