Chief Technology Officer (Analytical)

EDGE is an advanced technology group committed to creating disruptive solutions for defense and beyond. The Chief Technology Officer (Analytical) will play a critical role in driving the development of innovative aerospace technologies and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute a technology strategy for the Analytical Engineering Group that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
• Champion innovation in aerospace technologies, ensuring projects set industry standards for excellence.
• Oversee research and development initiatives, focusing on advancements in modeling and simulation, GNC, computer vision, and aerodynamics.
• Ensure that engineering projects meet high standards of technical excellence and compliance with global aerospace standards.
• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.

Knowledge/Qualification & Experience:

• 25+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, especially in leadership roles overseeing large-scale engineering projects.
• Proven track record in successful development and deployment of advanced aerospace systems.
• PhD or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Additional qualifications in business or technology management are highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS), programming languages (C/C++, Python, Julia), and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong strategic planning skills and experience in leading R&D teams.
