Key Responsibilities:

Technology Vision & Customer Evangelism:
Define the multi-year technology vision for EU accounts, aligning the company’s global roadmap with the EU's Digital Decade goals and interoperability frameworks. Act as the principal advocate for the company’s strategies across cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data platforms, automation, and digital transformation. Assess emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

AI, Agentic AI & Intelligent Automation:
Develop and lead the company’s AI strategy for EU institutions, ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act and embedding responsible AI governance principles. Drive the adoption of AI and automation solutions.

Security, Compliance & Digital Sovereignty:
Architect secure and compliant technology frameworks that meet EU regulations. Lead the modernization of legacy infrastructures into cloud-native, AI-ready platforms.

Deal Architecture & Solution Design:
Serve as the lead architect on large-scale deal pursuits, owning the technical solution design and architecture narrative.

Cross-Architect Collaboration & Architecture Governance:
Facilitate collaboration among the architect community to ensure consistency in solution designs and adherence to industry standards.

Business Development & Innovation Leadership:
Lead innovation workshops and represent the company as a senior technology ambassador in client engagements.

Pre-Sales Excellence & Sales Enablement:
Partner with sales teams to support strategic pursuits and create tailored solution assets for EU institutional procurement processes.

Team Leadership & Capability Development:
Mentor senior architects and develop a culture of innovation and customer-centric thinking within the team.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years in senior technology leadership roles in IT services or consulting.
- Expertise in cloud platforms, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Experience in architecting large-scale deals (€10M+) and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and EU-specific standards.
- Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is a significant advantage.
- Eligibility for or willingness to obtain EU personnel security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with EU Institutions.
- Strong understanding of EU regulatory landscapes.
- Active participation in industry bodies relevant to EU digital policy.
Work Conditions:
This position is hybrid, requiring some travel to EU institution sites and the company offices.
