Role Overview:
We are seeking an innovation-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Bybit’s global technology vision and execution. The ideal candidate will be a crypto-native leader with extensive experience in fintech or financial services, focused on scaling world-class trading systems and innovating blockchain-driven financial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vision & Strategy: Define and drive Bybit’s technology vision and multi-year roadmap, aligning with business goals and global regulatory requirements.
- Innovation & Product Development: Oversee the design and delivery of ultra-low-latency trading platforms and advanced derivatives products.
- Infrastructure & Security: Architect scalable, resilient systems capable of handling significant trading volumes, ensuring top-tier security and risk management.
- Leadership & Team Building: Build and inspire a high-performing global engineering and technology organization, fostering innovation and professional growth.
- Governance & Stakeholder Management: Ensure compliance with international regulations and serve as a strategic partner to executives and the Board.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven leader with 15+ years in technology roles, including at least 5+ years as a CTO or equivalent.
- Strong experience in global fintech platforms and a preference for candidates with a background in top-tier crypto exchanges.
- Comprehensive understanding of blockchain protocols and crypto trading infrastructure.
- Experience managing technology teams across multiple regions and cultures.
- Highly innovative with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
