Cisco Network Engineer

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, upgrading, operating, maintaining, and securing network infrastructure and related systems. The role ensures the reliability, performance, security, and readiness of network services, servers, electronic systems, and supporting infrastructure across the organization. The position also contributes to the continuous development and improvement of network infrastructure and technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the implementation of the organization's operational infrastructure plan.
• Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate network and server systems, equipment, and related technologies.
• Design, implement, maintain, and continuously upgrade network and server infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for installation, testing, configuration, and operation of operating systems and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system and network performance and implement necessary modifications, upgrades, and improvements.
• Maintain network security and implement appropriate technical measures to protect network infrastructure, systems, and electronic resources.
• Document network configurations, installations, and compliance with applicable international standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network architecture, network security, and cloud networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, network monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Professional Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
• CompTIA Network+
• Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP)

Language Requirements: Fluency in English is preferred.
