Civil Engineer

About the Role

In this role, you will plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects to ensure safety, compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of essential infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and utilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver designs that meet safety and code requirements.
• Implement value engineering techniques to reduce project costs.
• Ensure completion of projects according to scheduled milestones.
• Oversee construction quality and inspect results.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in civil/structural design or construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency with engineering design and calculation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience in civil engineering design related to roads, drainage, and structures.
• Basic knowledge of structural and geotechnical engineering.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or Revit software.
• Basic understanding of STAAD/ETABS/SAP2000.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, drainage, and surveying principles.
• Competence in project scheduling using MS Project and quantity estimation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and engineering judgment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and contractors.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.
