About the Role
As a Client Relationship Director (CRD), you will be accountable for the strategic ownership, growth, retention, and commercial performance of clients and business partners. This role involves leading executive client engagement, coordinating service delivery across the organization, delivering agreed revenue and profitability targets, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring that governance, risk, and compliance requirements are embedded throughout the client lifecycle. You will engage significantly at the C-suite level, including CFOs, General Counsel, Directors of Finance, Heads of Investor Relations, fund managers, and other senior decision-makers. As the CRD, you will serve as the executive sponsor, strategic relationship owner, and senior escalation point for high-profile and complex client engagements.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the key escalation point for high-profile client engagements, fostering close working relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Engage in necessary conversations regarding fees, service level agreements, and other aspects under your responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain senior relationships with key intermediaries, including legal advisers, audit firms, and consultants, implementing targeted visit and engagement plans.
  • Lead quarterly service and relationship reviews covering KPIs against SLAs, strategic priorities, commercial performance, risks, opportunities, and agreed actions.
  • Meet or exceed financial and non-financial targets, maximizing revenue and retention while maintaining cost efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrate market insight, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complexity across clients, jurisdictions, products, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Hold a recognized professional qualification and be a member of a relevant financial institution.
  • Extensive senior-level experience within private equity, funds, administration, corporate services, or a related financial services environment.
  • Proven track record of owning complex strategic client relationships, improving retention and profitability, and delivering revenue growth and new business targets.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and influencing skills, capable of succeeding through others and leading across functional and jurisdictional boundaries.
  • Experience across the UAE, DIFC, ADGM, and other international financial centres is highly advantageous.
