About the Job
Aligned to a territory and working together with Sales and Account Cloud Engineers (ACEs), the Cloud Adoption Manager will primarily focus on the post-booking side of our customer’s lifecycle, ensuring successful and sustainable cloud consumption growth. The ultimate goal is to improve usage and usage growth of Oracle Cloud while also creating a robust customer experience across the entire cloud adoption lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with relevant TCE teams to agree on specific activities and deliverables for the accounts managed
  • Drive fast and smooth customer activation
  • Focus on activation for new cloud customers and workloads
  • Equip customers with relevant knowledge for early usage
  • Manage the customer’s Adoption Plan and monitor its progress
  • Facilitate value realization and ensure success at critical milestones
  • Proactively monitor customer environment, assess risk, and build mitigation plans
  • Detect potential new workloads or implementation opportunities
  • Energize customer interest by sharing information and facilitating connections with Oracle activities
  • Assure progress and prompt resolution of service requests and escalations
  • Identify structural issues affecting customer use of Oracle Cloud and work on resolution plans
  • Act as a customer advocate for product features and requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Tech Cloud engineering roles with a successful customer engagement track record
  • Passionate about technology with breadth and depth of knowledge
  • Solid understanding of cloud technology landscape; hands-on experience or certification with Oracle, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
  • Strong experience in sales lifecycle with OCI architect experience/certifications
  • Excellent understanding of database technologies
  • High energy, social skills, and a focus on customer centricity
  • Strong listening, communication, and project management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities with strong task planning and delegation skills
  • Ability to understand customers' existing IT landscape, business requirements, and success definitions
  • Strong networking and collaboration abilities within virtual teams
  • High work ethic and proactivity; capable of driving creative and new customer engagements
