About the Job
Aligned to a territory and working together with Sales and Account Cloud Engineers (ACEs), the Cloud Adoption Manager will primarily focus on the post-booking side of our customer’s lifecycle, ensuring successful and sustainable cloud consumption growth. The role involves collaborating closely with relevant teams to agree on specific activities and deliverables required for each account. The ultimate goal is to improve usage and growth of Oracle Cloud while creating a robust customer experience across the entire cloud adoption lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a fast and smooth Customer activation
  • Focus on Activation for new cloud customers and/or workloads, minimizing time to first value and accelerating consumption growth
  • Equip customers with the knowledge for early usage
  • Manage the customer’s Adoption Plan and monitor progress according to their expectations
  • Facilitate value realization and provide long-term customer assistance
  • Proactively monitor customer environment, assess risk, and build mitigation plans
  • Detect and flag potential new workloads or implementation opportunities
  • Energize customer interest by sharing information and connecting them with relevant Oracle activities
  • Remove barriers and assure progress by engaging relevant teams and advocating for customers
  • Identify structural issues affecting customer use of Oracle Cloud and build resolution plans

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Tech Cloud engineering roles with successful customer engagements
  • Passionate about Technology with breadth and depth of knowledge
  • Solid understanding of cloud technology landscape; hands-on experience with Oracle, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
  • Strong experience in a sales lifecycle with OCI architect experience/certifications
  • Excellent project management, communication, and customer-centric skills
  • High energy, problem-solving abilities, and strong task planning skills
  • Understanding of customers’ IT landscape and their definition of success
