Cloud and DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, containerization, and server management. This role is critical in ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.

EdfaPay offers a comprehensive suite of payment solutions tailored for businesses in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Brazil, Bahrain, Iraq, and other countries. Our Soft-POS solution allows businesses to accept card payments on the go, while our Payment Gateway enables secure online transactions. Additionally, our e-invoicing service streamlines the invoicing process for easier financial transaction management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like Alibaba Cloud (preferred), OCI, AWS, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve workflows.
• Manage Linux servers, ensuring security and performance best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Document processes, configurations, and system architectures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (Alibaba Cloud, OCI, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
• Proficient in Linux server administration.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Relevant certifications from cloud providers (e.g., Alibaba Cloud Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or similar).

Work Conditions: Full-time, On-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
